Elon Musk and his Misrepresentations in classic Displays of Disinformation: an Example

Foreign Aid is ‘superficial guilty Conscience’©

Post the Colonization of Africa, anything the Western World does for (beneficial even if only seemingly) or to (detrimental) the Continent is “neo-colonialist” (Neo-Colonialism); according to ‘teleological thinking’© By ‘teleological’, I mean that the Focus is rather on the Effect on the Ground of the Western Intervention than on the Circumstances, including the Determinations, leading to that Intervention. It is in this Damnation that ‘Foreign Aid’ drops. Well, it might have been the Case that in the early times of decolonization, Neo-Colonialism was the Objective, but this is 2025, many Decades after Africa, with her numerous Countries, has been fully in Charge of setting her Course. ‘Foreign Aid’ today is not Colonialism or Neo. It is purely a ‘Gain Transaction’© between ‘Influence establishing Oligarchy’© in the West, be it governmental or non-governmental or quasi-governmental, and ‘neopatrimonial Oligarchy’©, be it governmental or non-governmental or quasi-governmental, in former Colonies of European Imperialisms anywhere these Colonies are in the World. The  ‘neopatrimonial Oligarchy’ is more often than not, especially if governmental, injurious to the ‘common good’ of ‘the People’, as in all Cases Incumbencies were/are interested only in diverting Public Resources, in whatever Form, into Private Use, i.e., converting Public Funds and Assets into individual Wealth. Majority of ‘Foreign Aids’ are received by ‘Government neopatrimonial Oligarchy’©, and are, ipso facto, ‘Public Resource’ subject equally to Abuse as Internally generated Resources. The Duplicity of ‘Foreign Aid’ per se, and its Complicity sui generis in implicitly justifying governmental neopatrimonial Oligarchy’s Oppression of ‘the People’ have been the Case for Decades, certainly older than my Identification of ‘Foreign Aid’ as Harm in dan Iyan (The New World Order ... , 2002, University of Aberdeen), and this my Thesis is ca twenty -three (23) Years old. Oppression of ‘the People’ is not only by directing physical Violence at them. A Government oppresses ‘the People’ when that Government deprives ‘the People’ of the basic Elements of ‘good Governance’. This is when the Government is clearly not interested in the ‘common good’.

Notice above that I titled this Section; ‘Foreign Aid is superficial guilty Conscience’? What is ‘guilty Conscience’? It is the Demonstration and/or Realisation that you have done something wrong and you are appeasing for it or are assuaging it. Some might say the ‘guilty Conscience‘ is Evidence of ‘Remorse’ in either a material Way or in moral Essence. Remorse could also be ‘material and moral conflation’©. So, what is the ‘Purpose of ‘Foreign Aid’? ‘Purpose’ and ‘Intension’ are the same. ‘Foreign Aid’ is, a priori, Reparation, that is, the guilty Conscience alleviating the Guilt. However, this ‘Guilt Alleviation’© becomes superficial when corrupted in Implementation such that its Relevance is farcical,   hence my Identification of ‘Foreign Aid’ as ‘superficial guilty Conscience’. By the time you have read the whole of this quite short Write-up, you would grasp fully my Proposition. By the Way, ‘white’ Western Writers or ‘whitish’ Western Writers never explain ‘Foreign Aid’ the Way I have done so far, and in dan Iyan, op.cit. The patronising Ones regurgitate themselves by describing it as “Relief” for the “underdeveloped World” or something as ‘intellectually banal’©, as ‘providing Assistance for the developmental Needs of “developing Countries.”’ The angry Ones perceive it with the ‘teleological thinking’ I explained above. They are the ‘neo-Colonialist Alarmists’©. Before the Subtlety of “underdeveloped World” or “developing Countries,” it used to be the “third World,” as if it was not European Imperialisms which desecrated those Lands, and retarded, essentially through Acculturation, the ‘developmental Pace’© of ‘the People’ of each Land they ravaged. I used the Expression ‘whitish’ Western Writers’ above to distinguish Western non-‘white’ Writers who can only see Things the Way their ‘white’ Idols see Things. This Distinction is important for my Sake, as I am too, a Western Writer.

Responding to Elon Musk’s “confirmation bias”

What is “confirmation bias?” “Confirmation bias”  simply means Evidence supporting One’s Preference. Here is Elon Musk https://x.com/elonmusk/status/1886811152698523962?t=SxU9rmagi9g-_XkmHQ9_7g&s=19 re-uploading a young African Woman criticising African Governments’ Receipts of ‘Foreign Aid’. The young Lady’s Opprobrium inevitably, in fact consciously, supported Donald J Trump Sr’s temporary Cessation of the Functions of the ‘United States Agency for International Development’ (USAID). The young African Woman served conveniently Musk’s “confirmation bias,” and played right by @elonmusk's 'white' Supremacy in an unwitting Manner.  

Ipemndoh dan Iyan is deliberate here in saying that I fully agree with the young Lady, and do not particularly care that in this Trajectory I support Donald J Trump Sr. This is ‘modus vivendi’ between Trump and I even as we have no Contact of any kind with each other. I go further than the Lady to argue that ‘Foreign Aid’ is 'Indebtedness of Africa'© to 'odious Foreign Influence'©, Western or non-Western. Note that I did not write 'Indebtedness of African Governments’. The Governments are ‘neopatrimonial Oligarchies’, and they invite ‘Foreign Aid’ for ‘Gain Transaction’ for the several Greeds of Members of Government forcing ‘the People’ through the Public Purse to pay for these grand Thefts. See, for instance, dan Iyan, op. cit., arguing that Africa can stand on her Feet solidly but for 'Western fuelled Corruption'© of her so-called Leaders. However, I disagree with the young Lady’s Expression of “owners of the Money” in referring to @realdonaldtrump’s “USAID 90 Day Pause.” Insofar that Uganda and other African Countries – they are not Nations, young Lady – transact global Businesses in/with the United States Dollar, they contribute hugely to the Wealth of the United States of America. Besides, ‘Foreign Aid’ is neither “Colonialism” nor “neo-Colonialism.” When the young Woman, in the Clip Mr Elon Musk uploaded, suggested  “Foreign Aid,” as  “Colonialism” or “neo-Colonialism,” the following is how I responded to Claims of  “Colonialism” or “neo-Colonialism” in dan Iyan, op.cit.:

Marxism in both its world system and dependencia theories, paints a picture of the helplessness of the states in the periphery of capitalist economic system. Certainly the Government of such states can enact laws that can restrict the manoeuvrability of trans-national corporations and capital although in choosing to follow this course, a Government may be inviting economic problems for its state. Nigeria’s Indigenisation Decree of 1977 is illustrative of both the willingness of the Government of a state to retrieve the state’s overall sovereignty and autonomy over the economic transactions within its borders, and the failure of such an attempt. However, the failure of the Nigerian experiments was due mostly to the absence of any serious implementation. Thus, not only must such Governments bring forward laws to protect economic activities within their states, they must also install mechanisms for the serious implementation of such laws.

I find Donald J Trump Sr abominable ordinarily

I do not like Donald J Trump Sr, particularly as he is ‘proto-Homosapiens’©/’proto-Human’©; that evolutionary Stage prior to Homosapiens/Human Cognition, but if he goes on to stop USAID to Africa completely although it might be reversed by the next President of the United States of America, Donald J Trump Sr will earn my Gratitude, ad infinitum. This is my Promise, and no matter how hard I criticise him hence, I will always express this Appreciation. It is a Paradox, you see? Donald J Trump Sr is stopping ‘Foreign Aid’ for emotional Reasons, and frankly ‘Kindergarten Rationality’©, but do I care for as long as his Action assists my Preference(s)? You see, Donald J Trump Sr is absolutely oblivious of the Strength of US Foreign Aid in guaranteeing US Imperialism in Africa. US “soft Power” it is called, but his ‘white’ Supremacy together with that of his Sidekick Elon Musk in addition to the Sidekick’s Nazism deceive both that they are doing Damage to Africans, in particular. Elon Musk is an ‘insufferable Liar’© as much as his Master, Donald J Trump Sr yet these two ‘abominable Liars’©  broadcast themselves as Truthsayers when all they ever do is tell Lies to their ‘proto-Homosapiens’ Typology who being what they are do not possess the Cognition to recognize Lies even where there is Evidence confirming the Lies. We know this is how Donald J Trump Sr got elected again as President of the United States of America (POTUS). Such proto-Humans, Trump and Musk, unwittingly assist the Objective of Africans like me to get rid of the undesirables who have manipulated themselves to have absolute Control of the Reins of Africa’s Governments. You see, when you push a living Organism to a Point of ‘no Return’, that Organism – Animal, Plant or Reptile – engages its “survival Instincts.” ‘Foreign Aid’ nullifies the “survival Instincts” of ‘the People’ whose Governments receive this Aid. ‘Foreign Aids’ desensitizes ‘the People’ from the Reality of being pushed against the Wall or into a Corner. In dan Iyan, op.cit., I identified ‘Foreign Aid’, as follows:

... foreign aid achieves a more damaging objective as far as the populations of the peripheral states are concerned in three additional ways. Foreign aid essentially props up decadent Governments of peripheral states. One, it diverts attention from the excesses of these Governments in the financial mismanagement of the economies of their countries. Foreign aid tends to be blame absolution: for the people, the Government could not possibly be doing anything wrong otherwise it would not attract foreign assistance. Two, foreign aid gives the impression that these decadent Governments are taking constructive steps to arrest the dire conditions of their populations. Three, and this is most important, foreign aid keeps the elites of periphery states beholden to the benefactor states in two ways. 1) The beneficiary elites are beholden to the benefactor states because foreign aid comes with some form of reciprocal requirements, i.e., if it is cash, then it might be required that it is used to fund a contract with the benefactor state. And if it is in the form of technical assistance, then a form of contract concession or commodity concession is expected from the beneficiary state to the benefactor state. 2) The beneficiary elites are beholden to the benefactor states because foreign aid, whether in cash or technical assistance, provides them with the additional opportunity to siphon public funds into their private accounts some of which are maintained in the benefactor countries. None of the three ways identified here ... diminish[es] the political sovereignty of the state. What they do is point out the inefficiency, corruption and inadequacy of Government.

“International Aid Organizations” – excuse me, what?

“International Aid Organizations” or “International Aid Organisations” or “Humanitarian Agencies” or whatever you call them are just Avenues for certain Levels of Workers to earn Remuneration much above their ‘Weight in Merit’©. By ‘Weight in Merit’, I mean ‘Qualifications’ which are the Gamut of (i) relevant academic Achievements, (ii) appropriate professional Certificates, (iii) competent Service Delivery, (iv) demonstrated Ability for Accountability, and (v) provable  positive Impacts of Interventions. For goodness Sake, quite many in the top Managements of these ‘non-governmental Organisations’ – Organizations (NGOs) secure yearly Payment Packages from 6-Figure Thousands of United States Dollars to around the 7-Figure Thousands Mark (Million Height). What for? Has any ‘non-governmental Person’© (NGP) donating Money ever seen their Job Descriptions to assess whether they satisfy them? I certainly never did when I was contributing heavily. I continue to give Money  - Bits, actually – but I still have not come across the Job Descriptions, and the ‘Delivery Effectiveness’© of senior Managements of the few I am giving Money to. My Suspicion, and probably the Fact, is that substantial Amounts of governmental, and NGP funding of the NGOs go to settling the cosy Livelihoods of senior Management.

I can manage any of those NGOs on the barest minimum Remuneration Package, believe me.
