The Voice on the Recording sounds like that of the presidential Candidate of Nigeria's 'Labour Party' (LP) for the 2023 Election, Peter Gregory Obi, in Conversation with Bishop David Olaniyi Oyedepo. I heard the former say to the latter, inter alia; "Thank you, Daddy. I need you to speak to your People in the South West, in the South West and Kwara. The Christians in the South West and Kwara. This is a religious War. … Yes Sir, Thank you, Daddy." He said "Thank you, Daddy," many times.  The Release of this Tape was the Bone for Nigeria's Media to pursue and typically they went salivating after it.  Slam Dunk, is it? Whose Basket? Wake up. Private Conversation, my Foot

I learnt "my Foot" Expression from my Papa who spoke especially good English with the "received pronunciation" (RP) Accent. Many of his Breed who worked within the UK colonial Administration did. My Father was a Police Constable. Ah, you are jumping to the Conclusion he had no Rank? You are welcome but 'Constable' was Office not Rank. Anyway, my Baba was a Police Prosecutor, inter alia. I digress.

I do not subscribe to the Nonsense that a "Conversation' or a "Discussion' is "private." A 'Soliloquy' is "private" but even then it is not, if voiced within the Hearing of others. You want 'Privacy', talk to yourself behind closed Doors, and soundproofed too. "You get me?" You say it to Another or Others, implicitly sworn to Secrecy, you live in 'Cloud Cuckoo Land'. Just own it when it becomes public. Ditto your Actions supposedly "private" with another Person. Busybodies abound.  They only need to see you together and 'Tongues start wagging'. You do not want anyone to know your "private" Thoughts and judge you by them then keep mum when you are among Others. "You get me?" By the Way, what Hogwash is that; seeking Refuge under "private Conversation" Sentiment? So, tell me; because it was "private Conversation" means you did not say what you said or that you did not intend what you spoke out? Bonkers. 

Good for the Goose but not for the Gander 

I cannot recollect anyone complaining that it was "private conversation" when Michael Achimugu released his secretly taped Conversation with his Employer, Atiku Abubakar the presidential Candidate of Nigeria's 'Peoples Democratic Party' (PDP), portraying the said as an Ogre bilking Nigeria's Public Funds. Now, it is "golden boy" Peter Gregory Obi - yes, he is golden boy to particular Members of the Nigerian mainstream Media - in the firing Line and suddenly; "private conversations" become sacrosanct. Human Beings will never stop being Human Beings; ojoro ti po ju. I like you, you can do no wrong notwithstanding that your Conduct is what I I complain about in Others. I like you and no Problem must come your Way, nevermind that I am the Chief in visiting Misfortunes on those I do not like; "different strokes", a bi? Na wa o. 

A good Word for Peter Obi's Supporters, please stop denying that the Conversation between Obi and Oyedepo took place. It is equally disgraceful to insist it was doctored in order to disinform on the Context. To persist with either Line of Defence is to continue making grand Fools of yourselves. I accept the Flow of the Conversation on the uploaded Audio as the true Reflection of what transpired, and I ask; 'so, what' that Peter Gregory Obi saw in the Nigerian presidential Election of 2023 "a religious War"?' He was right too to acquaint Bishop David Olaniyi Oyedepo of what he believed was going on. Note that the Bishop agreed. I am amused only that Obi and Okonkwo got it wrong. The Nigerian Condition has never been about Religion. It has always been the Animosity between the Nationalities in Nigeria for Supremacy. Nationality is what Nigerians and 'non-clued'© Outsiders call "Ethnicity" in various Ways. My 'Nationality’ is from my Definition of 'Nation' as 'Belongingness to Group Identity founded on common cultural History, and shared Genealogy'© This Definition upstages the erroneous Understanding of 'ethnic'. If you want to know what a religious War is, go back to the Histories of the Jihads and Crusades. You do not even need to go that far. Study the History of Northern Ireland before the 'Good Friday Agreement (GFA) 1998'. Actually, you do not need to tax yourselves at all; think. When an Igbo Person meets another Igbo for the first time or a Yoruba Person meets another, do they familiarize by asking which Religion they practise? Not to my Experience. They get to know one another by asking about their Towns or Villages of Origin and to which Clan they belong. "You get me?" I was in Ghana and a young early-Teens Fulani Cattle Herder recognized me as Fulani. He talked the Language not knowing that I am one of those who do not know their Way Home. I am sure he was not asking which Religion I practise. I was in Senegal. No Fulani I met there - we spoke in English - asked which Religion I prefer nor did I them. In The Gambia, the Fulani University Administrator I spoke with did not mention his Religion or mine. Mind you, I am not religious. Study carefully the Nigerian Interactions. They are about Languages. The Languages are the Fundamentals. Religions are simply Intermediaries. Language engenders Nationality and re-enforces it.

Slam Dunk - Nigeria's Media are fooled again by APC 

First; It was the Naira Redesign Policy and its Implementation by President Muhammadu Buhari, and his monetary Henchman Godwin Emefiele masquerading as the Governor of Nigeria's Central Bank. Second; there was the arbitrary Declaration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as President-Elect by the Election Results Manipulator Mahmood Yakubu deceitfully positioned as the Chairperson of Nigeria's 'Independent National Electoral Commission' (INEC). Now (third), it is the audio Recording of Peter Obi whimpering to Bishop David Olaniyi Oyedepo. There is no mistaking that the Obi in the Voice Recording was bleating. Yep. Again, the Hounds, that is, Nigeria's Media, are going after the Bait rather than the Prey. What is attractive to me about the Voice Recording is that I am again vindicated. I have always said that Obi was in the presidential Contest for personal Elevation. It is always Self-Interest that makes a Person supplicate before another. Does Peter Obi not know of the Instruction in the "Holy Bible" to "... delite thy selfe in the Lord, and hee shall giue thee thine hearts desire" (Psalms 37:4)? Even I, who does not subscribe to the Book, will not go to Extremes to occupy political Office. If 'the People' ain't voting for me, it is their Loss not mine. I would want to do good for them but if they are not discerning, tough Luck and good Luck to them. 

A presidential Aspirant beseeching a religious Leader for Intervention with those of the same Faith is absolute Desperation for "worldly gains", i.e., the lofty Status and Stature of 'President'. Did Obi forget what the Bible says in Exodus 14:14? "The Lord shall fight for you: therefore hold you your peace"? He has to be reminded of Titus 2:12 too "... we should denie vngodlinesse and worldly lusts [but] liue soberly and righteously, and godly in this present world." It is evident I need to remind him also of 1 John 2:15 "Loue not this world, neither the things that are in this world. If any man loue this world, the loue of the Father is not in him" and 16 "For all that is in this world (as the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life) is not of the Father, but is of this world." Okay, I acknowledge Mr Peter Obi's Prerogative to seek Redress in the Courts over the Yakubu Election Fraud, but as those who have been reading me would know, I am not hopeful even if Obi is in the Right. Nigeria is too forsaken and ergo punished with dishonest Persons in Control of its three Arms of Civilian Government. These Arms are the Extensions of the general Disposition of 'the People', after all, they vote for the two Arms; the Executive and the Legislature, and which then appoint Members of the third Arm; the Judiciary. Thus, Peter Gregory Obi filing in Court recognizes that "The Lord shall fight for you" does not mean you should fold your Arms when you are dealt a cruel Blow. An Aspect of "fight[ing] for you" is for you to look for some of the Facilities with which you can activate that Promise. Remember Jesus the Christ in Mark 12:17: "Giue to Cesar the things that are Cesars, and to God, those that are Gods …" Groveling before a Preacher or whatever else such a Person is called is oblivious of Jeremiah 31:34: "And they shall teach no more euery man his neighbour and euery man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me from the least of them vnto the greatest of them …for I wil forgiue their iniquitie, and will remember their sinnes no more."

Might be I was on Planet Mars during the 2023 Nigeria's presidential Election because all I was hearing was a President from the South East and/or a President from the South, and of course the Tinubu Galvanization that it is the Yoruba's Turn to be President. Bola Tinubu made it so clear in his "Emi lo kan" Diatribe and what happened? Bola Tinubu's Yoruba went after the Igbo. They did not have the Intelligence that some Igbo might be rooting for Asiwaju Bola. No, the Emotionalism of Nationality does not reason. It is naked Bestiality; 'Peter Obi is my Enemy. Obi is Igbo. All Igbo are my Enemies'. I wish, Obi, you had talked to me. Laugh. I would have helped you strategize against Tinubu. I can think like him. We know the Man has a criminal Conviction. I studied criminal Behaviors to acquire my Qualifications in Crime Studies. No Ghostwriter prepared my Essays and/or my Literature Review and/or my Research Report. All my Efforts, People. This is the bit I love;  as far as I know, there are no 'spent Convictions' in US Law. A US ex-Convict is a 'Life ex-Convict'© 'Spent Convictions' are 'Rehabilitation's "up yours" on moral Society. I am "just Deserts", so you see? Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu remains for me and to me a Criminal caught by the Criminal Justice System (CJS) punished. These Facts cannot go away, as Rehabilitation demands that they do.  

The Truth of the Matter is, and it is not only a philosophical Truth and/or a practical Truth but also a legal Truth. That Peter Gregory Obi said "religious War" in the Context being portrayed is not justiciable. By this I mean that the Statement has no Relevance to the Questions in Court over the unconstitutional crowning of Bola Ahmed Tinubu by Mahmood Yakubu as the President-Elect of the Elections of 2023. Period.
