In many Respects 'Loyalty' is a bad Thing, but hey, Rishi Sunak planned to unseat Boris Johnson some 7 Months ago

Andrew Murrison, a Conservative Party Member of the UK House of Commons (Commons) claims arrogantly that "A domain registration hardly constitutes a hostile bid for the boss’s job, and if that’s all his critics can unearth as evidence of disloyalty, I confidently rest my case." This Conclusion was made in https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2022/jul/20/rishi-sunak-no-10-loyal-boris-johnson in Support of Rishi Sunak, another Conservative Party Member of the UK Commons, who is currently contesting to become UK Prime Minister (PM) post Boris Johnson© Ipemndoh dan Iyan

I have written a Number of Pieces on 'Loyalty' and quite frankly I do not give a Toss for Loyalty unless it is for good Causes. See, for Instance my http://ipemndohdaniyan.blogspot.com/2021/07/some-bad-elements-of-human-psyche.html At any rate, it is extremely immoral of Boris Johnson himself, and unforgivably unfair of his Gang to moan about anyone being "disloyal" to him. If I were inclined to subscribe to the infantile Sentiment of 'Loyalty', I would ask whether Johnson kept Faith with Theresa May, and before her, David Cameron. Yep, "what I don't want done to me, I don't want to do to others," as Zi Gong said.1 Importantly, I had not given any Mind (Thought) to being a "critic …" of Sunak, but hey, Murrison must not get off easily with his Balderdash about Rishi Sunak's "domain registration" not Evidence of Intent to depose Boris Johnson. Even a Secondary School Student, smart enough, would ask a simple Question about this "domain registration." Such most basic Question is; 'when was the domain registered'? That Student could even go further and be a bit more clarifying by asking; 'was this domain registered before or after Rishi Sunak resigned from the Boris Johnson Government'? Should I now ask if Murrison has ever heard of the Concept of 'Intention'/'Intent'? What about 'timing'? How about 'Intention-timing'?©

We know that Sunak registered the Domain on 23 December 2021 or thereabouts. We also know that the Domain was registered as 'ready4rishi.com'. Quite innocuous a Name at the time you could say, but was it really harmless when you now ask the Question 'ready for Rishi' for what? Then again if you are savvy, you would realize the Ambition in that ambiguous titling when the Domain Name became the Slogan some seven Months later of the Rishi Sunak Campaign to replace Johnson as our PM. Then we cannot doubt it, as intelligent Persons, that the Domain Registration was precipitative Action. When we proceed to align this Domain Registration with Sunak's Resignation Letter fundamentally unflattering of Boris Johnson, voilà, the Picture becomes clearer. Wait a second. Do not rush your Agreement with me. Not yet. Most do not (or did not) note or they did indeed notice, but decided not to mention that Rishi Sunak's Resignation Letter was undated. Ipemndoh dan Iyan, as always, observes these Things, and understands their Undercurrents. It is Johnson's Reply that has the Date of "5 July 2022" on it. This is how the World came to know of the Date Sunak resigned his Cabinet Post. Rishi Sunak's Letter is Letter for any Day at any Time. It was a Letter in waiting. The Time had to be right, and it would "et tu, brute" Occasion. The Letter is his Celebration of his Glorification in the UK Media as the next British PM. Now, I can accept your Agreement.

I do not know anything about Sunak. I never go online searching for Stories about him. If I came across a Story on him, I would only read it fully if the opening Paragraph caught me. However, I know about Human Beings. I am a Human Being for starters, and I have also learnt about us academically in political, psychological, and sociological Settings (broadly our social Environment). There is this irredeemable Quality of Human Nature, and it is to hold private Thoughts yet voice public Sentiments which are irreconcilable. I sense that what Andrew Murrison interpreted - still interprets - as Rishi Sunak's Loyalty to Johnson is demonstrable of Sunak's 'my Thoughts comprise my trump Card. I am not telling you anything that would expose this Card'. Not letting Murrison in on his Intention at the Time the said met him to broach Boris Johnson's Removal is emblematic of Sunak's Cowardice. He knew as well as everyone in the Country that Johnson was losing his Shine, his deluded Divinity. He was no longer being seen as invincible, so to say, within the Conservative Parliamentary Party. So, Rishi Sunak could wait with the Patience of the Vulture. He would hold back for a big Cat to pounce. He had, perhaps in passing Conversations, understood that a Number of Cabinet Ministers were circling like Vultures as himself, but who would strike first? Who would the big Cat be? It was certainly not going to be him, but no matter. He would bide his Time. He could. The Time will come. The tactical Error Sunak made, as far as I am concerned, was to tender his Letter of Resignation as Chancellor of the Exchequer right after the big Cat, Health Secretary Sajid Javid, lunged. When you read the Contents of Rishi Sunak's Resignation Letter, he would have had Credence with those like me if he had given Boris Johnson that Letter circa seven Months ago. He would have saved me from the Bother of writing this Piece. Resigning when he did, and as the Chancellor at that Time of UK's economic Uncertainty, and for the Reasons he gave, demonstrated the worst kind of Decision-making that could be imagined, and of course, Malice. He could have forestalled my Criticism by making sure many Others threw in their Cabinet Posts before following suit, but he just had to compete with Javid.

I have other Bones to pick with Sunak in his Understanding of the Polity of the UK. Alas, he is not the only Parliamentarian (both Commons and House of Lords (Lords)) so blissfully misguided about the Mandate of 'the People' in Respect of the PM. He wrote "I have respected the powerful mandate given to you by the British people in 2019 …" The "british people'' did not give Boris Johnson any Mandate. It is the Commons Conservative Caucus that bequeathed Johnson the Grace to be PM with the Support of Conservative Party general Members.  It is why the same Process that installed him can remove him. The "british people" never elect their PMs. British political Parties elect a 'Leader' who then becomes the Leader of a Parliamentary Caucus if s/he wins a Seat in the Commons. S/he is the designated PM per se, and becomes the 'real McCoy'2 if the Party secures the Majority Seats in the Commons. Thus, the UK PM is anointed by a political Party rather than elected by 'the People'. Get it, Mister "I want to be Prime Minister" Rishi Sunak? A British PM is such by 'political Party collective Win'© See my https://twitter.com/IP_dan_Iyan/status/1546092196377640960?t=n2fevOnifrTqskgyShDb8Q&s=19  Boris Johnson appears to have taken onboard my Lesson when he stated: "I'm determined to get on and deliver the mandate that was given to us." See my https://twitter.com/IP_dan_Iyan/status/1546092196377640960?t=n2fevOnifrTqskgyShDb8Q&s=19 regarding Johnson's Concession. Rishi Sunak's Disorientation with UK Polity is further reflected in his Misapprehension of how UK Government works yet he is a Member of the legislative Arm of Government (Commons) and was a Member of the Executive Arm of Government (Minister). He claims in his Letter of Resignation that "On those occasions where I disagreed with you privately, I have supported you publicly. That is the nature of the collective govemment upon which our system relies …" If Sunak believes the UK Government is "collective government," why dissent  "privately [but] support … publicly?" This is not "collective" nor is it "compromise." It is Subservience to the PM Role. Is this not in itself the Dishonesty of the Rishi Sunak Character? If he had not found Johnson disagreeable enough to have resigned from his Cabinet "in hard times such as those [the UK is] experiencing today" before Sajid Javid threw in the Towel, what changed after Javid walked away? Britain is no longer "in hard times such as those we are experiencing today?" Importantly, is Rishi Sunak expecting the same kind of Deference he gave Boris Johnson to be acted towards him too if he became the PM? In "collective government," Mister Sunak, the Chair, i.e., PM, is a Figurehead. "Collective" means 'Collective' where 'Cooperation' is the key Element, the Modus Operandi, of Governance. What does 'Cooperation' mean to you, Rishi Sunak? Figure it out yourself. I ain't helping you here, Mister.

Now, to round up. I am not fighting Boris Johnson's Corner. I have not been tasked with a Brief for him. Besides, I have never believed that Johnson is Minister Material not to talk of being PM. You can go back to all my writings about the Guy before he became the Mayor of London, during his Stints as Mayor of London, and after Sojourn as Mayor when he was catapulted to a secure Conservative Party Seat in Preparation to anointing him as PM eventually. I also do not hold Rishi Sunak culpable for any Form of Disloyalty. A Minister of UK Governments (or of any Government in a so-called Democracy) owes Loyalty only to 'the People'. However, it is difficult in Practice to be 'loyal' to 'the People' in a so-called Democracy since this Polity is really Electoral Politics, and 'Loyalty' can be exercised only to 'the Majority'. 'The Majority' do not represent the 'general Will', but we can live with the 'partial' rather than with the 'naught'. 'Loyalty' to the Prime Minister (or the President) is 'naught'. UK Media Persons should get into their uneducated Heads the philosophical Issues around Ballot Box Government. I am unhappy with Sunak only because he is denying his Preparedness to dislodge Boris Johnson as PM the many Months back he registered 'ready4rishi.com'.

Sunak threw Stones at Johnson's glass house with "... the public rightly expect government to be conducted properly, competently and seriously. I … believe these standards are worth fighting for and that is why I am resigning." He wrote later in triumphing Brexit that "… I have respected … how under your leadership we broke the Brexit deadlock" yet only a Baby would not know that Boris Johnson's Brexit is worse than May was going to get us, and that the Implementation of Brexit itself is 'Tyranny of the Majority' of single Person Counts over the national Preference Counts of the four Nations constituting the UK. Northern Ireland, and Scotland did not vote for Brexit while England, and Wales did. The Imposition of the Preference of two Nations over the Preference of the other two Nations of the UK is the worst Tyranny ever inflicted in modern Times by the Majority in Electoral Politics. Rishi Sunak is quiet about the 'social Tsunami'© Brexit is, but he wants 'the People' to believe he will be better than Johnson, and would always tell us, the "british people," the Truth. Really, Mr Sunak?

1 No; you are wrong. It was not Confucius who first stated this. It was Zi Gong, one of his Students in Interpretation of Confucius' teaching. Read any Translation of 'The Analects of Confucius'. I have read two Translations. This is the Difference between Someone like me who actually reads, and understands original Texts/original Translations, and those who simply repeat secondary Sources they have read or heard. Jesus the Christ made a similar Observation 500 Years later.
