Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) - Nigeria
The ‘Independent National Electoral Commission’ (INEC) of Nigeria is an Institution. Although a legal Entity, INEC is inorganic. Its Thoughts, its Actions and its Voice are from its Human Agents. A Man named Mahmood Yakubu is its Chairperson. He is its ‘commanding Representative'© His Word is Law insofar as it is about the Powers entrusted to that Body. If you checked him out on the Internet, he has these many glorious Qualifications from intimidating western Universities and you wonder why, ordinarily, this Person botches the Nigerian Election Process. He did it in 2019 in superficie, and has repeated it in 2023, again apparently. If he is as cognitively able as portrayed, how come his Management of Nigeria’s Elections is unimaginably crude? Quite unmeritorious, really. What – not ‘which’ – incisive Mind – what a Research Degree supposedly attests – would (i) be unable to plan and/or coordinate replicated scheduling of the opening of voting Centres – polling Stations/polling Units – and/or (ii) accept the haphazard Manners in which the voting Centres were ready for ‘the People’, at times into the late Afternoon and/or (iii) not reschedule the Election in Totality in View of the two preceding Failures? Remember my operative Words; ‘in superfice’ and ‘apparently’? They are to alert my Reader to my Thinking that those Muddlings of Nigeria’s Elections were deliberate skewing of those Elections. However, there is an Area within Mahmood Yakubu's Capacity as the Chairperson of INEC that is clear Indication of Incompetence. I went on the INEC Site in the Course of writing this Piece, and it appears Yakubu does not have the Initiative to compile the Functions of INEC. I have no official Explanation of the Gamut of INEC’s Responsibilities. So much for his PhD and his Professorship. Whatever the Quality of Mahmood Yakubu’s PhD, I observe a Person, insofar at it concerns Nigeria’s mishandled presidential Elections, intent on coronating as President whomever he fancied. They are not bungled Elections. They are corrupted Elections. This Person, Mahmood Yakubu, is the very anti-Thesis of 'the Will' of the Nigerian Peoples and the Number 1 Enemy of the Nigerian State. He is inimical to the Integrity of Nigeria's supposed Democracy. Muhammadu Buhari's Naira Redesign Policy and its Implementation were Gifts for and to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to win the Presidency in 2023. They were the greatest of 'Sucker Punch[es]'. I saw the Tinubu manufactured Win coming and I warned Nigerians about this in my already mentioned Blogs. However, Nigerian Commentators, including Media People, in hallucinatory 'Selves-Worth’© were too busy celebrating their undeserved Degrees; Bachelor's, Magisters, MPhils, and DPhils, to bother to go back to their academic Ghost Exam Sitters and Thesis Writers for Assistance in thinking.
With this Tweet https://twitter.com/IP_dan_Iyan/status/1169328318132494336?s=19 in 2019, I agreed with Sir Keir Starmer, UK Labour Party Shadow ‘Secretary of State’ for Brexit, not to fall for Conservative Party Prime Minister Boris Johnson's Call for a ‘Snap Election’ but the Labour Party Leader, Jeremy Corbyn, fell for it because he was already hallucinating himself residing at 10 Downing Street. He got trounced instead, really whupped. In my presaging that Bola Tinubu would win, I was nudging Nigeria’s Media in the Direction to go to not make it happen. Ahmed Tinubu was never going to win by Fair Means.
Bola Ahmed Tinubu the Curse of “the gods” on Nigeria
I have always said that Nigeria is not favoured by “the gods” otherwise Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu should not even have been allowed to contest for the Presidency but for idiotic Opinions from Persons like Reuben Abati insisting – continuous Tense – that Tinubu’s criminal Conviction is in another Jurisdiction as if the Offence is not also a Crime in Nigeria. Did Nigeria not have the Death Sentence for Drug Trafficking (and Collusion) in the Past, and perhaps still does? The important Logic for me is that criminal Conviction testifies to an Individual’s Defiance of, and to, Authority to the Extent of violating the Code or Codes of universal Acceptability in Society. What is the ‘Authority’ in a State? It is the Gamut of Codes of universal Acceptability in Society. What or who maintains these Codes? Government does. So, the apt Question to ask in the Case of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is: what is the Interest of a Person who is anti-Government in running to be the Chief Officer of Government? The same Question applied to when he ran for Senator and for Governor. The clear Answer is ‘Self-Aggrandizement’ and we saw this manifest when a Senator and then a Governor and during his presidential Campaign. Simply put; Tinubu’s Morality is self-seeking; “Emi lo kan” as he, himself, have put it. I, personally, believe that ‘criminalisation is selective' (Endnote 1) For me, Crime is Conduct that breaches ‘the inalienable Right’ of a Person. It must be Harm to a Person or a Person’s Property in any Form. I know that Governments all over the World condemn Drug Trafficking and that outside Government, we have Commentators who believe it is ‘Victimless’ Crime and those who do not. The Fact, as it is, is that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Is an ex-Convict. Additionally, Tinubu gave no credible Evidence of any Education he has acquired. For instance, the College Transcripts the Abuja High Court certified was not, in the least, approved as authentic by Chicago State University where Bola Ahmed Tinubu claimed he got his Degree from. In addition, those Transcripts do not even coincide with Chicago State University Syllabus for the Course Bola Tinubu claimed to have undertaken. The Transcripts are, prima facie, Forgeries. Even if the Transcripts were signed by Chicago State University, those Transcripts are only for two (2) Years. Bachelor's Degree Courses in the USA are for four (4) Years. Why did the High Court in Abuja flout Reason and basic Legality to accept the Transcripts without Chicago State University ‘Signatory Confirmation’©? De jure, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu did not satisfy the educational Certificate Requirements of ss. 131 and 138 of the Constitution of Nigeria 1999 (even as amended) yet the Abuja High Court and Mahmood Yakubu allowed his Participation in the Presidency Competition. What I have written here are the Lines of Inquiry Nigeria's Journalists should have pursued but they are pedestrian, unthinking, regurgitative, and parroty. The Fool’s Errand: Prayer to the Nigerian Court to invalidate Tinubu’s Yakubu declared Win
Nigerians must learn that they cannot negotiate with abusive Power, especially the fungible Type. Atiku Abubakar went to Court in 2019 after Manhood Yakubu made him the Loser. He failed in his Petition. Yakubu is Nigeria's worst Enemy. He did the Groundwork for Muhammadu Buhari’s second Win that Muhammadu Buhari did not win. Abubakar produced convincing Evidence of his, Atiku Abubakar, Win but the Supreme Court of Nigeria could not be swayed from its Path of being the Piper. Remember the Aphorism of the Piper? S/he pays the Piper, s/he plays the Tune. In 2023, Atiku will again be disposed of by the Supreme Court. Peter Obi will too if he happens to be the convincing Winner. No, no, I am not double tongued. I am not saying ‘the People' should cherry-pick Court Decisions. No, ‘the People’ cannot “pick and choose.” ‘The People' will get safe Decisions from the Courts as well as unsound Judgements. This Paradox of the Courts happens all over the World and ‘the People' must accept the Rulings of Supreme Courts whichever Way they go. This is the Essence of ‘Civil Society’. The Courts are Institutions, after all, and their Judgements reflect the Sentiments and Sympathies of their Human Agents; the Judges. I have, here, simply identifified the Character of the Nigerian Supreme Court in 2019. Has it changed since 2019?
Closing Remarks
With the contrived Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Win of Nigeria’s 2023 presidential Election, it is evident “the gods” are not with “Nigerians.” “The gods” have never been. Nigeria is an Aberration of Statehood. It is ‘foisted Commonality’© from the Origin of variegated Constituents as Merchandise of the Empire of Great Britain. This Merchandise Foundation has been propagandized as ‘God’s’ Creation – I actually heard a Cretin on televised News – YouTube Broadcast – say that “God created Nigeria.” I think he is older than I am and I am 66 Years old this Year. He spoke reasonable English Language, so he must have attended School, but was evidently a Liar to himself and to the Peoples of ‘Nigeria’.
Nigerians can continue to saturate the whole World with their Myriads of Churches and Mosques all they want and as much as they can but “the gods” do not smile on sinful People. Nigerians are sinful Peoples. There are Exceptions, of course, but One does not have to sleep in Churches and Mosques to be an Exception. The Exception is the One who truly believes and does not need Another for Counsel or Guidance or Support. Read Jeremiah 31 and understand it. Reflect, in particular, on Verses 31-34 and especially Verse 34.
“The gods” have really forsaken Nigeria hence they preoccupied its young with the Hype of Peter Obi, another Personification of Dishonesty from the same Cloth as Muhammadu Buhari. “The gods” are not foolish but are irreconcilable with their Vengeance. In fact, ‘the gods’ are inconsolable in their Anger so they cursed 'the People’ of Nigeria with Tinubu. It does not matter how Ahmed Tinubu got imposed on Nigeria. It is the Will of ‘the gods’. Nobody should fool Themselves the Nigerian Courts would overturn the Win Mahmood Yakubu secured for him. In 2019, Atiku Abubakar clearly won the Presidency. Yakubu gave it to Muhammadu Buhari and the Courts rubber-stamped it, Judges of the Supreme Court of Nigeria Themselves are beholden to Buhari. Yele Sowore is the only good News for Nigeria but Atiku Abubakar is still better than Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Why have I identified Atiku Abubakar as “a great Man?” We know he stepped aside for MKO Abiola for the Presidency in 1993. We also know he did the same in 2003 for the ‘utmost Ingrate’© and deceitful and cantankerous Rtd Army Full General Olusegun Aremu Obasanjo. We are now hearing that Abubakar was ready to step aside again if the ‘Peoples Democratic Party’ (PDP) to which he belongs had zoned the Presidency Primary to the South East. These steppings aside of Atiku Abubakar demonstrate the Willingness to subdue his personal Ambition for the greater good. Peter Obi is simply not in this League of Selflessness. He just had to be President by ‘Crook or Hook’ but in Reality he was just a ‘Spoiler’ to obstruct Abubakar in the 2023 presidential Competition. I doubt whether he was actually successful at it because I maintain that Buhari, Emefiele and Yakubu delivered for Tinubu. They all rigged the Tinubu Victory. The Presidency of Nigeria is to Peter Obi as it is for Bola Tinubu; personal Ambition. Both are untrustworthy about their personal Attributes. We heard all the Lies Obi told about whom he went to School with, i.e., as Tinubu lies about the Bachelor’s Degree (Endnote 2) he does not have and denies his criminal Conviction in Connection with Drug Trafficking. I am not certain if Obi ever referred to himself as a “a Trader” but he accepted it when referred to as One because it suits his ‘Assertion of Ignorance’© (Excuse) that he did not know Assets he owns jointly with Family Members should be declared pro rata (proportionally) that he knows with his other Hat of Banker he must.

She was comparing Tinubu who got his imagined Bachelor’s Degree in the 1970s to Atiku Abubakar who achieved his real Magister in 2021. I did not respond. What would have been the Benefit in responding to such infantile Frame of Mind? If I were to follow her Thinking, did Abubakar not attend University before Tinubu and acquire his Qualification before Tinubu if at all Tinubu has any? This Diehard believes Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has a Bachelor’s Degree with 2 Years Transcripts unattested by Chicago State University he supposedly attended. Need I say anymore?
